Come Get Hands On With Interactive Folkloric Demonstrations

People in the park will revisit and participate in a variety of cultural traditions. As a highlight of the 24th Annual Down Home Family Reunion attendees will have the chance to participate in four Interactive Folkloric Demonstrations. Attendees can learn the history of African American Scientists & Inventors from the curator of the African American Inventors Institute, Dr. James Wright, African Wholistic HealthPractices from Dr. Kokayi Patterson, create dolls and doll-influenced figures with Priyah Bhagat and learn about African Spiritual Traditions from The African Traditional Spiritual Coalition.
