3rd Saturday Documentaries: Olympic Pride – American Prejudice

Elegba Folklore Society’s Cultural Center will be hosting viewings of different documentaries of our little known yet largely influential history.
This week we will be showing Olympic Pride- American Prejudice, a documentary about the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, at the height of racism and terrorism in Hitler’s Germany. We know the story of Jesse Owens well, come learn of 17 other African-American athletes that competed that same year.
